Mias Steyn is the owner of Lungile Safaris and has always been passionate about nature and game hunting. Mias has all the necessary qualifications and expertise to make your dream game hunt come true! Mias started hunting at the young tender age of six, together with his uncle Carl Labuschagne. The passion took flame when he shot his first animal on the property of Wagendrift, near Piet Retief. He was taken aback by his emotions and the craving for the adrenaline pumping through his body of being a hunter. Carl always taught Mias from a very young age, that he must strive to be a hunting professional and not a professional hunter.
When Carl passed away in 2013 after a very long battle with cancer, Mias decided to start Lungile Safaris, filled with all the lessons and guidance of Carl. Mias is sure to strive and make sure his legacy lives on through Lungile Safaris. Herman Labuschagne wrote a wonderful story about the life of Carl and how he started his hunting career.
